Extremely rare CDV of President Abraham Lincoln that was taken on August 9, 1863, by Alexander Gardner. This image is referenced as #O-72, and examples of this one are exceptionally rare. This was one of Lincoln's favorite poses from that sitting, and he donated many of these, some autographed, to sanitary fairs to help veterans. Unfortunately, this one is not autographed. But still, super rare, and highly desirable for any collector.
